Cardio Kickboxing
WHY KICKBOXING?
Ever watch a boxer in action? On their feet constantly . bobbing and weaving . constant movement!
Think a person needs to be really fit to fight off an opponent in the ring in 10 - 12 three-minute rounds?
You bet!
Cardio Kickboxing combines the punching and kicking of the martial arts along with the movement and
rhythm of a traditional aerobic workout.

Kickboxing is for everyone! Adjust your timing
and intensity to your own level of fitness.
Will you punch other folks in kickboxing class? NO! It's not a contact sport / martial arts class .
it's a workout!
- You'll skip rope (an awesome cardiovascular exercise).
- You'll run in place.
- You'll shadow box.
- You'll exercise to GREAT MUSIC!
- You'll build power in your arms shadow boxing and maybe hitting a bag . all benefiting
hand speed and hand / eye coordination.
- You'll do push-ups . strengthening your entire upper body
- You'll do kicking drills . developing leg power and improving balance.
- You'll work on your abs . boxers have to be able to take a punch (but nobody is going to punch
you or kick you!). Crunches and other abdominal exercises will toughen up your abs.
